“We are Legion, for we are many.”
The Savage Lands Sector
The Rodinians have long been assigned to the Legion’s reaper units, patrolling the harshest sectors of the galaxy. When we’re on the hunt, there is nowhere in the galaxy you can hide from us. Try it. We dare you. You’ll see that we are already in the shadows, waiting for you.
TALUS
Legion command has sent me to an outpost slum in the ass end of The Savage Lands. Cloaked operation. Purely recon. Whatever intel they need to find isn’t for me to judge. I’m all for finishing my job quickly so I can find a willing female to warm my den.
Should have been simple, until I see my fate-mate being traded for the very thing I’m sent to find.
CALLIE
I stumbled onto my bed after a night of partying, only to wake up in a human menagerie light years away. I’m about to be sold for a briefcase and a taco, when a seven-foot, tiger-striped alien claims I’m his mate, flings me over his shoulder, and runs.
Now I have to figure out a way to evade two alien gangs I somehow insulted, while convincing a beast–and my traitorous body–that I’m not anyone’s mate, fated or otherwise.
Scorched is a stand-alone sci-fi romance and the second book set in The Legion: Savage Lands Sector universe. This series is full of fated mates, instalove, happily-ever-afters, overprotective males, and the headstrong females that love them.
You can read the first book, Hunted, in the Stolen and Seduced Anthology.

I gasped when I saw he was awake and staring at me silently, his eyes glowing golden like a captured sunset. His golden skin was nearly orange, striped black and brown along his temples and neck.
The pretty markings disappeared down his suit, and I was curious to see what lay underneath.
He watched me with those catlike eyes, tilting his head in an adorably animal-like gesture. I took it as a question, because when I nodded in encouragement, he reached out to touch me. He closed the distance between us, purring while his long fingers caressed my cheek, down the length of my arm.
I shivered beneath his gentle attention. My hands itched to touch him, so I caressed his jaw, tracing the stripes that I found so fascinating and surreal. He leaned into my touch, nuzzling my palm. My fingers reached his long, cat ears, stroking the fur found there. He grabbed my hand gently, kissing my wrist before smiling and brushing my hair away from my face.
“Well, hello, beautiful,” he said, leaning in to nuzzle my neck. He laid soft kisses down my spine, his teeth lightly grazing my skin. His soft rumbling purr intensified, vibrating against my body as he shifted on top of me…
